With 20 years experience and extensive knowledge of decorative history, the studio is celebrated for skillful and responsible treatments, using materials and techniques of the highest quality. Clientele ranges from private collectors to institutions and includes architectural firms, interior designers, fine antique dealers, auction houses, museums, and personal collections.
From a spacious and light-filled workshop, the studio treats an array of fine surfaces such as period lacquer, Japanning, traditional water gilding, French polish, and exquisite painted finishes. Woodwork includes surface, structure, joinery, decorative elements, and veneer. Onsite collection maintenance is an indispensable service for the company’s private collectors.
The studio is also commissioned by high profile architects and designers to produce specialty custom finishes for newly made contemporary and reproduction furniture.
Lisa DiClerico received a BFA in Restoration from FIT with access to New York City’s finest decorative art collections, museums, and specialty artisans. She continued her post-baccalaureate work in art history and restoration in Florence, Italy, and returned to New York to train with restoration ateliers and experts until she opened the doors to her own workshop and consultation company. Her background includes fine art painting, sculpture, and studio furniture making.
